Watch as Mohammed bin Salman speaks with Donald Trump shortly after a bumper $142bn arms deal between the US and Saudi Arabia was announced.

The US will provide ‘state-of-the-art’ wart equipment to Saudi Arabia, who will invest $20bn (£15n) in US artificial intelligence in return.

The deal was announced on the first day of the US president’s diplomatic tour which will include Qatar and the UAE.

Earlier, Elon Musk joined the two leaders at a lunch in Saudi Arabia, along with other business leaders.

Trump’s itinerary notably does not include a trip to Israel, America’s war-stricken long-term allies.
