Kemi Badenoch has urged Sir Keir Starmer to "take her position" on doctors strikes and implement a ban.
The Conservative leader said: "What the Prime Minister should do is take up my position, which is just to ban doctor strikes. I've been saying this since I became leader last summer.
"We had endless strikes by junior doctors, and the Prime Minister gave them a 28 per cent pay rise. Most of us have never seen a pay rise like that, and the doctors are still striking.
"I don't think he should be using training places as a bargaining chip, I don't really understand why he's doing that. I'd like to hear an explanation, because those training places, my understanding is that there are four patients there to increase patient support, patient safety, patient welfare that's not should not be a bargaining chip.
"What he should do is just ban doctor strikes, just like we do with the police and with the army."
