Charlie Kirk's death has left a "void" in conservatism, American comedian and actor Rob Schneider has told GB News.

Speaking to the People's Channel at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Texas, Mr Schneider said the right wing activist and Donald Trump ally, who was assassinated last September at Utah Valley University, was "irreplaceable".

Within the Maga movement, Mr Schneider said: "There seems to be some infighting because there's no replacing Charlie Kirk."

He continued: "He was personally responsible, I believe for the 22.5 per cent bump and young people, which has never happened in the history of our electorate.

"In that void, there's some infighting."
