Richard Madeley rushed to hospital on set of I'm A Celebrity, show confirms

Richard Madeley was rushed to hospital this morning in the early hours after falling ill in the I'm A Celebrity camp.
The TV star left his fellow contestants seriously concerned when he suddenly fell unwell.
Medical staff rushed to Gwrych Castle, where the reality programme is filmed.

“It was horrifying - campers were really upset and concerned, all of the crew and medics rushed to set to help him,” a source tells The Sun.
“It was a real scare for everyone involved.”
Madeley's health scare came the day after he completed the Kitchen Nightmares trial on the show.

An ITV spokesperson has said: "Richard was unwell in the early hours and was immediately seen by our on-site medical team.
"He's since been taken to hospital as a precaution, the health and safety of our campmates is our priority."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed: “We were called at 05.43am this morning, Thursday 25 November 2021, to reports of a medical emergency at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, Conwy.
“We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car and an emergency ambulance to the scene, and one patient was taken to hospital.”
