Vladimir Putin has issued the order for a military strike, with explosions reported across Ukraine

Witnesses in Kyiv heard a series of explosions shortly after Russia made its war move into Ukraine.

The move, dubbed a "full-scale invasion" by Ukraine's foreign minister, could instigate the biggest conflict seen in Europe since World War 2.
