The man plead guilty to sexual communication with a girl under the age of 16 between March and July last year.

A man from Watford possessed an image of a person performing an act of intercourse with a horse and sent sexually explicit photos to a child.

Mr Shray Parekh plead guilty to sexual communication with a girl under the age of 16 between March and July last year.

He admitted possession of over 50 ‘Category C’ indecent images of a child on his phone during the same period in 2020, as well as publishing an ‘obscene article’, namely Snapchat messages between April 4 and May 11.

The 32-year-old’s guilty pleas also included possession of a highly extreme pornographic image of someone perfuming a sex act with a live horse.

Court documents described it as “grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character”, adding “a reasonable person looking at the image would think that any such person or animal was real”.

The Watford Observer reports that after appearing at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 10, Parekh is now scheduled to be sentenced at St Albans Crown Court on January 7.

He has been granted unconditional bail but must register with the police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
