Scottish Police in Falkirk have saved a primary school’s Christmas after making a high-profile arrest earlier this morning.

Officers were called to Larbert Village Primary School after a suspicious green character was reported to be lurking outside.

After receiving a detailed description of the Grinch wearing Santa style clothing, the team detained and bumbled him into the waiting police van.

It is believed the Grinch was arrested on suspicion of attempts to steal Christmas.
