The presenter didn't hold back in her assessment of the eldest Beckham sibling

Ulrika Jonsson has launched a blistering attack on Brooklyn Beckham, labelling him "weak and spineless" following his recent public criticism of his parents.

The 58-year-old television presenter tore into the eldest Beckham child after he claimed David and Victoria had attempted to control his life and expressed no wish to repair their relationship.

Ms Jonsson described the 26-year-old as a "nepo baby" lacking independent thought.

"The world needs to accept Brooklyn is a weak, spineless young man, with no capacity to think for himself," she wrote in The Sun.

The former Gladiators host revealed she had personal experience of Brooklyn's behaviour, noting he had previously blocked her on social media.

Ms Jonsson admitted her initial reaction to Brooklyn's outburst was one of genuine sympathy, but her maternal instincts soon took over and prompted a change of heart.

The television personality expressed that her "heart aches" for Victoria, who she felt had been publicly humiliated by her own son.

She reflected on the challenges of parenthood, noting there is no manual to follow. "We guide them as best we can," she wrote.

"Intent on not making the same mistakes as our parents did but with a guarantee that we will doubtless make our own."

Jonsson questioned why Brooklyn continues to trade on the family name in his various career ventures if he feels so wronged by his parents.

"I'm afraid he can't have it both ways," she stated bluntly.

The remaining members of the Beckham clan have presented a united front in the wake of Brooklyn's comments.

David, Victoria and their three younger children – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – attended Paris Fashion Week together, marking their first public appearance since the controversy erupted.

Body language expert Judi James told The Mirror that David appeared "strong, rather stern and protective" during the outing.

She noted his typically relaxed demeanour with Victoria had received "a very dramatic upgrade" to appear "emphatically alpha."

Victoria, meanwhile, projected what James described as "calm defiance or resilience."

"Victoria is not looking fragile or in need of being towed here though," the expert observed.

Ms Jonsson also addressed the apparent tension between Victoria and Nicola, expressing her frustration at how women are often set against one another.

She lamented the way the two had seemingly been pitted against each other throughout the ongoing family drama.

While the Beckhams maintain their composed presence in Europe, Brooklyn and Nicola continue their life in America, seemingly unbothered by the controversy surrounding his explosive claims about his upbringing.
