Do you pack your home comforts when you travel? New research found the majority of British holidaymakers are reluctant to travel abroad without them.
In fact, some 75 per cent of Britons consider it important to be surrounded by their favourite items while holidaying overseas.
Some 37 per cent of travellers bring their favourite toiletries with them, according to research from TUI River Cruises. Meanwhile, 21 per cent ensure they pack teabags for their trips abroad.
The findings showed how British tourists love to prioritise familiarity even when enjoying new experiences overseas, with many unwilling to compromise on everyday comforts from home.

British holidaymakers want to recreate their home environment when travelling, especially when it comes to food and drinks.
From personal care products to comfort foods and familiar beverages, the list unveiled a strong preference for maintaining daily routines even when exploring foreign destinations.
The survey also revealed what makes British tourists feel most comfortable when abroad. Nearly half (43 per cent) said that being around smiley staff and friendly crew matters most to them.
A third (37 per cent) said being taken care of is their top priority when travelling overseas. Additionally, 33 per cent stated that friendly crew and staff help them feel more relaxed during their holidays abroad.
Despite 36 per cent being keen to travel internationally each year, the overwhelming preference for familiar surroundings was a big factor. But the research found that 39 per cent of Britons don't even know their destination before booking a holiday.
