These cooking gadgets are nearly 40% cheaper than Ninja's models

If you've been eyeing up a new air fryer for your home cooking, there's no better time to click "add to cart."

Salter has cut the prices of its popular Verticook ultra stackable air fryer to just £84.99 — was £99 on its online site. Designed very similarly to the Ninja Double Stack air fryer, you're getting many comparable features such as design, cooking presets, digital controls, and more.

If you're not familiar with Salter, it's a British homeware brand that offers various cookware products — including various kitchen scales, blenders, stand mixers, and more.

Air fryers are a great addition to your kitchen appliances if you're looking to cut down on your household bills. These popular countertop gadgets only require around half the electricity that a conventional oven uses, making them 50% more efficient.

Unsurprisingly, these gadgets have skyrocketed in popularity with Britons. Research from Leatherhead Food Research says 61% of UK households now own an air fryer, which is up by 10% from last year.

To nab the deal, make sure you add the special code EASTER at checkout. The deal is only available until 11:59pm April 7, 2026.

With this model, you can save counter space and still cook up to nine litres worth of food. You also have nine preset cooking functions to choose from — chicken, chips, steak, vegetables, fish, bakes, keep warm, sync, and match.

This air fryer is on sale in multiple shades, such as White/Gold, White/Silver, Black/Gold, and White/Wood.

Both appliances take a clever vertical approach to cooking, letting you prepare four separate meals at once — both levels can be divided with a metal rack. It's ideal for families all wanting to cook something different or anyone who loves a proper Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

The drawers on both models can go straight into the dishwasher, making cleanup a breeze after dinner.

When it comes to capacity, the Salter offers a bit more room with nine litres split between two 4.5-litre baskets. The Ninja gives you 7.6 litres total, divided into two 3.8-litre drawers.

If you love preset cooking options, the Salter wins here with nine functions, including a handy Sync and Match feature that lets both drawers finish cooking at the same time. Functions such as chicken, chips, steak, vegetables, fish, bakes, and keep warm are also included.

The Ninja keeps things simpler with six modes — air fry, max crisp, roast, bake, dehydrate, and reheat.

As for saving space, Salter claims their model is about half the size of its dual-view air fryer oven.

It's worth noting that given the height of these gadgets, you may want to measure underneath your cabinets to make sure it fits.

These are the measurements for both Ninja and Salter's air fryers:

  • Salter: 37 x 29.3 x 42.8 cm
  • Ninja: H38.5cm x W28cm x D42cm

Both air fryers can also help you cut down on energy costs compared to using a traditional oven. The Ninja claims you could save up to 60% on your energy bills, while Salter suggests their model uses 58% less energy than a standard 1.8kW electric oven when cooking chicken.

The Ninja also boasts that it cooks up to 55% faster than fan ovens, which is perfect if you're always rushing to get dinner on the table.

The Salter lets you adjust temperatures between 60 and 230 degrees Celsius using a digital LED touchscreen with a control dial.
