Camilla is responsible for King Charles’s decision to go public with his cancer diagnosis, Diana’s former butler has claimed.
Paul Burrell joined Patrick Christys on GB News to praise the Queen, describing her as the “steady hand at the tiller” during a turbulent period for the royals.
He added that Camilla’s ability to “reach people in a way the King can’t” led to her advising the monarch to come forward with his news.
Asked whether she is responsible for the King's decision to come forward, Burrell said "I think so".
“I think she’s taught him a lot in the last few years about monarchy and how to be King”, he said.
“Isn’t that odd really? That she should come up through the ranks and be so supportive and such a stabilising influence in our modern day Royal Family?”
