The couple's foundation gave out £2.4million in grants and raised £10.5million from wealthy benefactors and £3,645 in public donations in 2021.

In total, Archewell received a total £10.5million with sums of £8.1million and £2.4million coming from individual donors.

The charity spent £132,000 on salaries, according to the filings.

CEO James Holt also works an hour a week whilst there are two other salaries on the tax return – one for program service and another for management and general expenses.

This indicates that the charity has three paid staff, one being the CEO, another delivering programs, and an administrative assistant.

Since 2018, 16 employees have left Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's brand.

It comes as the Duke of Sussex attended the first two days of a privacy hearing against Associated Newspapers Limited this week.

Harry is one of several high-profile individuals to bring claims against ANL for misuse of private information.

Prince Harry was been seen diligently making notes in a black leather notebook during his appearances at the High Court.

However, he did not attend the third day of the hearing today. None of the claimants, including Prince Harry, were formally required to be at the hearing.

The Daily Mail's publisher has described the allegations as "preposterous smears".

ANL denies the allegations and a preliminary will consider legal arguments and a judge will decide whether it will go any further.
