Meghan Markle has been defended by commentator Christine Hamilton, after making a surprise return to acting this week.
The Duchess of Sussex, who shot to fame as a Hollywood actress became best known for her role in TV series Suits, before meeting husband Prince Harry.
Hamilton said: "I can't believe I'm doing this, I'm about to defend Meghan Markle.
"She's invested in this company. Everything about this company puts my hair on end, it's one of the most ghastly, wokey, ghastly things. The very way they call it Clevr, for goodness sake."
Hamilton continued: "It's all about spreading love and all this sort of business.
But she's a friend of that person, she hasn't done that as a job, she's done it as a favour."
Brooks then jibed: "She's a royal!", to which Hamilton stated: "She's not royal, for goodness sake.
"Pull the other one! She's not royal. The one thing she's not is royalty. Of course she shouldn't really do it, but I don't think it's a massive big deal."
