Buckingham Palace said their legal team will be monitoring the issue

Amazon has removed several books from its platform that were said to have been written by Artificial Intelligence after concerns that they contained false information about King Charles's recent cancer diagnosis.

Buckingham Palace stated any books speculating about the King's diagnosis and treatment are "intrusive, insensitive and filled with inaccuracies".

The Palace added that the Royal Family's legal team will be "looking at the issue closely".

The books speculated about which type of cancer King Charles was diagnosed with, despite the King not stating publicly which type of cancer he has.

The spokesman added: "While we allow AI-generated content, we don’t allow AI-generated content that violates our content guidelines, including content that creates a disappointing customer experience."
