Royal author Angela Levin has expressed sympathy for King Charles after the monarch announced his shock cancer diagnosis.
Levin told GB News that she was left in tears by the revelation, but remains confident that the King will “do his best” in trying circumstances.
She pointed out that the King has suffered a difficult few years with a series of royal fallouts and the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
“I thought it was such a terrible tragedy for him”, she told Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster.
“Even though he can recovery and be strong and is very positive. It just seemed like he has been through such a lot in these last four years.
“So many deaths and such a very difficult time with Harry and yet another low. But he is strong and he will do his best to stay firm and do what the doctor says.”
