In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we reflect on Jesus's resurrected body and how our bodies matter.
"The rest of the world is a pale shadow in comparison to Jesus's real body. Jesus's body is the one that's exalted to what a body should be. A body in excelsis.
"Why does the church find this important? Partly because it tells us that our bodies matter. They're not something that can be discarded or swapped for something else. In modern society, people often treat their bodies a sign to fight against or to hate as they try and transform them into something different.
"But what if people were to treat them instead as a gift? Even if in this life our bodies are imperfect, they're essential to our very being, and they're something to celebrate."
