Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson has lead tributes to ex-Conservative politician Norman Tebbit following his death aged 94.
Delivering his tribute to GB News viewers, Johnson said: "Norman Tebbit was an absolute hero who took on the union barons and helped to pave the way for Britain's revival in the 1980s and 1990s.
"And at a time when Labour is disastrously trying to reverse those reforms, is vital to remember why he said what he did.
"Norman Tebbit supported the values of thrift and energy and self-reliance, rather than a culture of easy entitlement. And today, under this Labour Government, we need the values of Norman Tebbit more than ever."
