Former Republican party Chair Jennifer Nassaur has defended a political campaign led by candidate Nikki Haley, after claims the group was "sexist".
Haley launched her "Women for Nikki" campaign in early 2023, ahead of her Iowa campaign stops last year.
The group's mission, as stated on Haley's website, aims to "educate, empower and engage" women across the United States to support Haley as the next President.
The group has amassed hundreds of social media followers, and is run by grass root volunteers.

Co-Chair of the campaign, Rachel Geilenfeld, said Haley "went toe-to-toe with North Korea, Russia, and China and didn't blink."
She added: "She is a unifier who can bring people together to get conservative results."
Speaking to GB News, Jennifer Nassaur shut down claims that the group had a "sexist" agenda.
Host Patrick Christys asked Nassaur why there a "need for separate genderisation" in US politics today.
Nassaur explained: "We're a coalition of volunteers, grassroots, we are the people on the ground.
"I've been doing this work for six months with a bunch of incredible ladies and we all had the same mission, to get a new President elected in the United States - it has nothing to do with gender."
She then revealed that men are also signing up to be members of the Women for Nikki project, and stated it is because they are "such a large coalition".
She told Patrick: "That's all it is. We're not separating people based on gender at all."

Patrick was surprised by the revelation of male members, responding: "That sounds a bit progressive if you ask me!
"If the Democrats were doing it, then people would be banging their head off this desk in front of me here."
