Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar joked Labour’s flagship energy plan was not named with GB News in mind.
He spoke to The People’s Channel’s political editor Christopher Hope about the party’s unveiling of Great British Energy, a publicly owned energy company which would invest in wind and solar projects if Labour is elected.
“I promise we haven’t named it after the news channel in terms of GB Energy, although I’m sure there is a connection”, he joked.
