US President Donald Trump has slammed Iran's "unbelievably weak" peace proposal, comparing the deal to someone on "life support".
Speaking to the media at The White House, Mr Trump said: "The ceasefire remains in place. It's unbelievably weak. I would say I would call it the weakest right now.
"After reading a piece of garbage they sent us, I didn't even finish reading it. I'm not going to waste my time reading it. I would say it's one of the weakest right now, it's on life support.
"Life support is not a good thing. I would say the cease fire is on massive life support, where the doctor walks in and says, 'sir, your loved one has approximately a one per cent chance of living'."
