Sarah Pochin becomes the party's fifth MP

Sarah Pochin has won the race to become MP for Runcorn and Helsby by six votes.

The Reform candidate becomes the party’s fifth MP and opened up her winning speech by paying tribute to Nigel Farage.

Speaking to the crowd, the new member of Parliament said the party has “made history”.

It is a momentous day for Reform who overturned a hefty Labour majority.

Labour’s Mike Amesbury vacated the seat after sucker-punching an MP, making the constituency the first to be contested of this Parliament.
