Labour plans to fully nationalise the train network within five years of coming to power if elected
Britons have responded to Labour's to fully nationalise the train network within five years of coming to power.
Speaking to GB News one person said: "It should be standardisation, you're not always clear the sure of the fares."
Another said: "I'm not sure, It might be [a good idea] but then can we afford it?"
While a third person agreed: "It can't get any worse." A fourth person added: "We definitely should nationalise it. And all the rest of the utility companies. And the government. Can we do that?"
This comes as Labour has said it plans to renationalise the country's rail network within five years without paying compensation to private operators.
