Daughter of James Hennessy, one of the 97 killed in the Hillsborough tragedy, says the families "do not accept" the apology by police, branding David Duckenfield a "liar".
Ms Hennessy told the press conference following the release of a new report: "We would like to thank the IOPC for their detailed and comprehensive support. As predicted, it confirms what families and survivors knew all along. David Duckenfield is a liar," she says.
"His first thought while he stood over Liverpool fans watching them fight for their lives was to blame them and protect himself.
"We made it clear following the inquest and we reiterate again today that we do not accept his apology."
