Thousands of households could be eligible for a free £120 bonus as they continue to battle the cost-of-living crisis.
After the majority of the Household Support Fund money released last October last year had dried up, Chancellor Rishi Sunak boosted funding by another £500million in his Spring Statement earlier this year.
The money is spread across local councils, who then choose who is eligible for the funding.
And now Norfolk County Council has added its own £1million to its Household Support Fund handout as it creates a cost-of-living support scheme for its people.

A total of £7.7million will be distributed to people based in the area between now and October.
The council has already pledged around half of the money to parents with children.
Those who have children eligible for means-tested free school meals will be given free cash vouchers.
The vouchers, which can be spent at any supermarket on food, clothing or other essentials, will be £15 per month, per child, while parents will be able to claim £30 in August due to the school holidays.
While the scheme started last month, parents can still claim the money and will get a double payment in May.
This means that the total amount of money families could receive is £120.
If your child already receives free school meals, they will automatically be enrolled onto the scheme meaning you do not have to apply.
