Boots issues urgent product recall of kids product after 'possible risk' identified
Boots is the latest retailer to recall a product as it has been deemed potentially unsafe for some consumers.

Boots is recalling packs of kids vitamin gummies over a possibility that they could contain undeclared soya.
According to the Food Standards Agency, Boots Kids Daily Health Multivitamins Strawberry Flavour Gummies have been recalled because they have been mispackaged with other products that contain soya, which is not mentioned on the label.

The retailer have ensured they have take action to ensure the safety of its shoppers.
They also said they have issued a sale-of-notice which explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
The notice read: "We are recalling Boots Kids Daily Health Multivitamins Strawberry Flavour 30 Gummies due to it containing soya which is not mentioned on the label.
"If you have bought Boots Kids Daily Health Multivitamins Strawberry Flavour 30 Gummies, and you have an allergy to soya, do not eat them.
Customers can return the product to store with or without a receipt.

"Instead, check if you have bought the affected batch code(s) / best before date(s) of the Boots Kids Daily Health Multivitamins Strawberry Flavour - 30 Gummies."
They added: "The gummies will also be orange in colour and not red."
The FSA echoed the retailer's advice: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to soya, do not eat it.
"Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, with or without a receipt."
The batch code of the recalled product reads: 82221103.
