Tesco, Waitrose, and Lidl have all issued food recall notices, alerting shoppers to potentially unsafe products sold in stores.

Britons have been told what to do if they have purchased an affected product. In all cases, customers should cease use.

Waitrose and Partners Egg and Spinach Protein Pot 90g

Waitrose has issued a recall for Waitrose and Partners Egg and Spinach Protein Pot due to possible salmonella contamination.

Products with a best-before date of July 31, 2025 and August 1, 2025 are at risk.

"For further information, please contact Waitrose Customer Care 0800 188 884, Option 4."

Officials warned that symptoms caused by Salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps.

The recall is specific to shoppers in England, despite Waitrose also operating in Wales and Scotland.
