New ice cream flavours has been launched and Britons can't wait to try it

Angel Delight ice cream sticks have been spotted in Morrisons and customers can't wait to try them.

This follows Angel Delight soft serve ice cream tubs which are already available in a number of supermarkets.

Angel Delight is a classic British dessert that can be made by mixing the powder with milk.

It can also be purchased in pre-mixed pots. Customers can now get their hands on two new ice cream stick flavours, banana and butterscotch. They cost £3.25 for a pack of three.

Shoppers were quick to discuss the treat on Facebook and shared how excited they are to try the product.

One social media user said: "I need these! Love Angel Delight, especially butterscotch", while another added: "Wow, got to find them".

Another said: "Mmm I will be getting these" while a fourth added: "These are sounding good!"

Other Britons shared their nostalgia and one commented that they "used to love the butterscotch one".

Posting under a picture of the new treat, hundreds of other Britons simply tagged their friends and family members who they thought would like the new ice creams.

This follows more good news for fans of nostalgic snacks as a much-loved crisp flavour returned to the shelves.

The Discos salt and vinegar flavour was last seen in stores in 2019 when it was axed but it is now making a comeback.

Shoppers will be able to pick up the delicious flavour in B&M, Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Farmfoods.

One Iceland shopper said on Instagram "Oooh, looking forward to trying these" and another joked, "Well that’s my diet gone out the window".

"Going to be the size of a baby elephant at this rate if these taste good."

Other shoppers commented on social media stating "I need these in my life" and "I need them".
