Television presenter Ulrika Jonsson has launched a scathing attack on footballer Andy Carroll for travelling abroad with his girlfriend whilst his former wife remains at home caring for their children.
The criticism emerged after Carroll posted romantic photographs with make-up artist Lou Teasdale during their Mediterranean travels, prompting Jonsson to accuse him of "gallivanting" whilst Billi Mucklow looks after five children.
Writing in her Sun column, Jonsson expressed frustration at Carroll's behaviour, noting that Mucklow cares for their three shared children plus two from his previous relationship.
The presenter questioned why fathers find it easier to abandon family responsibilities whilst mothers typically remain home prioritising their children's needs.

Carroll and Teasdale's relationship has experienced significant turbulence recently, with the couple briefly separating before reuniting within days.
The pair, who have been together for approximately a year, unfollowed one another on social media platforms earlier this week, with Carroll removing all photographs of Teasdale from his Instagram account.
Whilst initial reports suggested the 36-year-old footballer had ended the relationship due to frustration with Teasdale's behaviour, sources later revealed the 41-year-old make-up artist had actually initiated the split.
Carroll subsequently flew to Ibiza via private jet, attempting to locate Teasdale, despite not knowing her whereabouts.

|The footballer has now confirmed their reconciliation, pledging to reduce his alcohol consumption following disputes about drinking.
Jonsson wrote that Mucklow has "understood that children need continuity, connection and a daily routine" whilst Carroll has been "gallivanting across the Mediterranean with his tongue attached to Lou Teasdale's tonsils".
The presenter described Mucklow's conduct as demonstrating "unwavering dignity" and praised her decision to prioritise the children above all else.
"She's been going about her business quietly, diligently," Jonsson stated, contrasting this with Carroll and Teasdale's public displays of affection.
The television personality admitted feeling "exhausted" merely observing the couple's "relentless" summer activities, which have included "beach trip after festival after party".
Meanwhile, Mucklow has been holidaying in Majorca with the children, sharing photographs from Spain.

Carroll and Mucklow ended their marriage last year following two years together, with the footballer confirming they had begun divorce proceedings after what he described as "a hard few months for our family".
Their 2022 wedding nearly didn't happen after Carroll was photographed unconscious in bed with two women during his Dubai stag party, though Mucklow forgave him when one woman confirmed nothing intimate occurred.
The former couple share three children - Arlo, Wolf and Marvel Mae - whilst Mucklow also cares for Carroll's children from a prior relationship, 15-year-old Emilie Rose and 14-year-old Lucas.
Carroll began his relationship with Teasdale last year following his separation from the Towie star in September.
