British families looking for a cheap getaway can save with budget carrier PLAY, who will launch a three-day sale next week offering 30 per cent reductions on selected routes.
The Icelandic airline's promotion runs from July 31 to August 3, covering departures from London Stansted throughout the autumn months.
The discounted flights were first available to purchase in an offer that ran last week, but the promotion is set to return at the end of the month, giving holidaymakers who missed out more opportunity to save.
It applies to journeys between August 1 and October 31, providing options for late summer breaks and half-term trips. Routes include direct services to Iceland's capital region and three major American cities, with the reduction automatically applied to base fares during the booking process.
Travellers can choose from four transatlantic destinations when departing from Stansted. The carrier operates services to Reykjavik-Keflavik, with return fares starting at £100 per person.
Discounts are available on flights to Reykjavík, Iceland
American destinations include Boston Logan, with returns from £322, Baltimore Washington from £320, and New York Stewart from £433.
All routes involve either direct flights to Iceland or connections through Reykjavik for US-bound passengers.

The promotional discount covers airfare only, excluding taxes, additional fees and carrier charges. Passengers should note that extras such as luggage allowances and seat selection remain at standard prices, though bundled fare options provide discounts on these services.
According to the airline's terms, the 30 per cent reduction appears automatically during the booking process when selecting qualifying dates. If no discount displays, either the promotional allocation has sold out or the chosen dates fall outside the eligible period.
The offer requires round-trip bookings through the carrier's website and cannot be combined with other promotions. Standard baggage restrictions and fees continue to apply throughout the promotional period.
