Discover the rich history of England this summer with huge discounts

Britons can save on unique holiday homes during peak summer dates as part of a new promotion.

English Heritage has launched a summer deal offering 20 per cent off self-catering accommodation at its historic properties across England. The discount applies to stays during the school holidays from July 18 to September 1, 2025.

Holidaymakers can secure a week's stay from £1,536 by using the booking code SUMMER2025. The offer covers English Heritage's portfolio of holiday cottages situated at medieval castles, Tudor fortresses and peaceful monasteries.

The heritage organisation's summer discount provides an opportunity for families to stay at some of England's most significant historic sites during the peak holiday season.

Guests booking these heritage stays will receive exclusive access to the historic sites outside of public opening hours. This private access allows visitors to explore castles, gardens and historic houses without the usual crowds.
