Britain's biggest tour operator, Jet2holidays, has announced new family holiday incentives to celebrate the end of the school year.
The qualifying age for deals has been raised from 12 years, in previous promotions, to 17 years.
The expansion comes as families prepare for the school break, with the company confirming that every summer holiday flight now features free child places, but it warns, "once they are gone, they are gone".
Other money-saving deals include savings of up to £200 for families of four, alongside exclusive reductions for loyalty programme participants.
Jet2 customers can fly to Gran Canaria
The tour operator has expanded its complimentary child place scheme across its entire summer flight schedule during school holidays.
Previously restricted to children aged 12 and below, Jet2Villas has broadened eligibility to include teenagers up to 17 years old for villa bookings.
This age extension applies exclusively to villa holidays across all available seasons, in great news for families travelling with older children.
The Which? Recommended Provider maintains its standard package benefits, including flights with Jet2.com, 22kg baggage allowance plus 10kg cabin luggage, and ATOL protection.
Villa bookings require a £60 per person deposit and include complimentary car hire throughout the stay. Summer 2025 bookings attract discounts of up to £50 per traveller through Jet2holidays, enabling four-person families to reduce costs by as much as £200.
Members of the myJet2 loyalty scheme can secure an extra £100 reduction per booking with the promotional code NOTHINGBEATS.
These offers apply to all Jet2holidays packages departing before October 31, 2025 - perfect for booking a well-deserved break during the school holidays.

CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, said: “With the schools breaking up, we are seeing even more demand for family holidays as people get planning and booking their holidays.
"In anticipation of that, we are doing everything to help customers and independent travel agents book those summer holidays, by announcing more Free Child Place holidays alongside more great savings.
“We know that the freedom of a villa holiday, combined with package holiday benefits, is a huge hit with customers. This applies to families with older children in particular, so we are delighted to be making it even easier to book by extending Free Child Place holiday places when booking a villa holiday to children aged 17 and under.
"This family-friendly change will be hugely popular with customers looking to book their family villa holidays with us, and we are sure it will put people in the best mood as the summer holidays start.”
