Apple has sent out invitations to its next event, which will take place in New York, London, and Shanghai on March 4.
The secretive US technology firm has branded this a "special Apple Experience", but there are no details about how this will differ from other recent events, like its blockbuster September Event, which saw the reveal of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17, ultra-slim iPhone Air, AirPods Pro 3, and Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch SE 3.
Aside from a three-dimensional Apple logo built from yellow, green, and blue discs... Apple isn't offering any clues about what to expect during its next event. Apple recently unveiled an upgraded, second-generation AirTag to keep tabs on your luggage, pets, keys, and other everyday items.

But aside from that, it's unclear what devices will be spotlighted during the event. Whispers from inside the spaceship-like HQ in Cupertino, California, suggest a successor to the affordable iPhone 16e, announced on February 19 last year, could be due very soon, alongside a MacBook Pro with more powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, a refresh to the iPad Air – replacing the model released in March 2025, and more.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Apple released its bestselling MacBook Air with its M4 in March last year, a system-on-a-chip that's since been superseded by the M5 found inside the newest MacBook Pro and iPad Pro, so it's possible that we'll see a refresh to that £999 notebook too.
Of course, these are only rumours, predominantly based on an annual release schedule that we aren't even sure that Apple will be following, so take everything above with a healthy pinch of salt. However, if CEO Tim Cook and co. announce even half of the gadgets listed above, it promises to be an exciting event.
The event will follow hot on the heels of the next Galaxy Unpacked event, where rival Samsung will unveil the next generation of its Galaxy S smartphone lineup, with a new ultra-thin S26 Edge and flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra rumoured.
