John McEnroe believes Novak Djokovic is capable of beating Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon this afternoon, despite 'uncertainty' surrounding the Serb.
Djokovic has been in fine form at the All England Club this summer, with the 38-year-old showing the magic of old amid his impressive run so far.

McEnroe, speaking to the BBC, has expressed a belief that Djokovic has the 'slight edge' over his rival as they prepare to do battle.

While discussing the 38-year-old, the tennis legend said: "Even he knows he doesn’t have loads more chances to win majors.
"He’s had a great looking draw so far, but Sinner beat him in the French [Open] and started outplaying him.
"But on this court, you would say this is Sinner’s least favourite and Novak’s best at this point, so that makes it a real toss-up. Maybe even a slight edge in Novak’s favour.
"Wimbledon is Novak’s best chance to win another Slam, absolutely. He understands the nuances of this court better than anyone."

McEnroe admits, however, that there's 'uncertainty' over Djokovic.
The former world No 1 has been struggling with a stomach problem during the competition so far.
Then, on Wednesday, he fell to the floor during his victory over Flavio Cobolli - with the veteran then cancelling a practice session in the aftermath.
McEnroe added: "It’s only [Carlos] Alcaraz with his A-game that has figured out a way to dismantle him and show that he’s human.

"There’s a bit of uncertainty with Djokovic’s body and his stomach.
"I’m not sure what’s going on there, but I’ve never seen a player ice their stomach during a match before.
"He thinks his best shot [at another Grand Slam] is here, so maybe he’s putting extra pressure on himself because he wants to break every record that exists and get to 25."
Djokovic was outclassed by Sinner at the French Open last month.

Therefore, that makes the 24-time Grand Slam champion the slight underdog going into today's seismic showdown.
Djokovic knows he needs to be at his best to book his place in the final. Speaking after his win on Wednesday, he said: "It's going to take the best of me at the moment to beat Jannik, I know that.
"That's the only thing I'm thinking about right now, just getting myself physically and mentally in the right state so I can fight with him for as long as it's necessary."
