How much every Premier League team earned this season in prize money as Liverpool celebrate triumph

It was a good day for the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle as well, with those three sides able to join both Liverpool and Arsenal in next term's Champions League.

Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have also secured European football, with the two teams due to play in the Europa League and UEFA Conference League respectively.

With the season now over, it's time to look at how much each Premier League team earned for their exploits over the past nine months or so.

Liverpool, unsurprisingly, pocketed the most cash - with the Reds earning £56.4million for their title triumph.

Slot's men were unparalleled this season and cruised to glory, with Mohamed Salah particularly majestic as they secured their first league title since 2020.

Arsenal, the runners-up, have scooped £53.5m.

The Gunners weren't at their best this year but are likely to use that cash injection on new signings.

Viktor Gyokeres is their No 1 target, though whether they're able to land the 26-year-old from Sporting Lisbon remains to be seen.

City also had a campaign to forget, having failed to win a trophy for the first time since 2017.

Pep Guardiola's men beat Fulham 2-0 on Sunday to qualify for next season's Champions League, with Ilkay Gundogan and Erling Haaland's goals guaranteeing them a sum of £50.7m.

Chelsea and Newcastle got £47.9m and £45.1m respectively, with Villa and Forest earning £42.2m and £39.4m for reaching Europe.

Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford - who completed this season's top 10 - have scooped £36.7m, £33.8m and £31m each.

Fulham, Crystal Palace, Everton, West Ham and Manchester United make up the teams that finished between 11th and 15th.

They received £28.2m, £25.4m, £22.5m, £19.7m and £16.9m in prize money respectively.

Wolves, who ended up 16th, secured £14m.

As for Tottenham, who won the Europa League last week, their 17th-placed finish means they've pocketed £11.3m.

Out of the three relegated teams, it's Leicester who got the most.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's ailing team receive £8.5m, with Ipswich getting £5.7m and Southampton going down with £2.8m.
