Erik ten Hag has insisted Manchester United have received too much criticism this season after their 3-2 victory over Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils had gone into the game on a low after a torrid 2-0 defeat to West Ham at the London Stadium.
It looked as though United would suffer another loss, with goals from John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker seeing Villa race into a 2-0 lead.
After the break, however, Ten Hag's side were transformed.

Alejandro Garnacho, who was moved to the right wing, netted twice to spark wild celebrations around the ground.
And Rasmus Hojlund finally scored in the Premier League to give United victory.
After the game, Ten Hag was quizzed on his side's lack of consistency.
He told Prime Video that he felt United had been unfairly criticised, coming out swinging in the process.
"People only saw the result and judged the result at West Ham but we also played a solid game there," said the 53-year-old.
"But they see the result and only complain.
"I know that football is about results and you get judged by them, that is normal, but as a manager you also have to see the performance, and we dictated the game at West Ham too."
Ten Hag also defended his side after being asked whether he'd seen the 'worst' of them - as well as the 'best' during the game.
"No, it wasn't the worst," he said in his post-match press conference.
"I think already, the first half and we played solid, only it was a little sloppy to give two goals away from set-plays.
"I think only [at] half-time we slightly changed a little, the pressing, but there was a really slight change.
"But we said keep going. Already [in] the first half we created chances; twice Rasmus Hojlund, or Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, and were all very good, created chances from open play.
"So, we said keep going, and believing in ourselves, and I said that that is what I demand from a team.
"And I said it before the game, I said during half-time.
"Keep believing and we will win this game."
Another subject Ten Hag was asked about was the presence of INEOS man Sir Dave Brailsford.
Brailsford is set to work with Sir Jim Ratcliffe after the latter purchased a 25 per cent stake in the club.
Ten Hag feels INEOS can improve United as they look to restore the glory days from the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

He made his feelings clear by saying: "I don't think it has had an impact on the players.
"And so for me, I kept informed and during the whole process, first from Richard Arnold, later on from Patrick Stewart, so I knew what's going on.
"Yeah, we're looking forward.
"I think it's positive for the club that they are in, they're stepping in. They have a lot of experience in sport on the highest level: F1, [the] cycling team, other football clubs.
"So, it can only help and support us to catch our targets.
"So we are looking forward. They want to work with us, and we want to work with them."

Villa boss Unai Emery, meanwhile, insisted he was happy with his side's display despite the disappointing result.
"It was a fantastic 60 minutes, fantastic. We were in control of the game, we played very, very well," he stated.
"We were speaking in the dressing room after the first half that if they score one goal it can happen. We have to try to keep being consistent.
"But we did do that because we created two very good chances. The best chances of the match with Leon Bailey and John McGinn.
"We were fighting and competing very well but we didn't score. And then, twenty minutes they scored three goals.
"It was their best moment, they are a very good team with good players and playing at home.
