Ange Postecoglou has reaffirmed his commitment to Tottenham Hotspur after guiding the club to Europa League glory, ending their 17-year wait for a major trophy.
Postecoglou also addressed his previous statement about winning trophies in his second season, explaining: "People misinterpreted me.
"It was not me boasting, just me making a declaration and I believed it. I had this thing inside me more than anything else."
After Tottenham lost to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup in January, Postecoglou said: "I always win things in my second year. Nothing has changed. I don't say things unless I believe them."

That became an infamous statement, considering that the only trophy truly up for grabs was the Europa League - where they had yet to embark on the knockout stage.
But those words will now echo forever after Postecoglou went on to back-up his ballsy statement by actually going out and doing it.

Nevertheless, he acknowledged the team's domestic struggles, adding: "I know our league form has been unacceptable, but coming third was not going to change this football club, winning a trophy would, that was my ambition."
Spurs defeated Manchester United 1-0 in Wednesday night's final in Bilbao to secure their first piece of silverware since 2008 and first European trophy in 41 years.
Brennan Johnson's first-half goal proved decisive as Tottenham claimed European glory against Erik ten Hag's side.
The victory marks a significant achievement for Postecoglou in his debut season at the North London club, despite speculation earlier this week that he could leave Tottenham regardless of the result in Spain, with two years still remaining on his contract.

Postecoglou's future has been called into question following a disappointing Premier League campaign, with Spurs currently languishing in 17th place after suffering 21 defeats from 37 matches.
This poor domestic form stands in stark contrast to their European success, creating uncertainty around the manager's position despite delivering the trophy that Tottenham fans have craved for nearly two decades.
However, Postecoglou has made it clear he intends to stay and build on this success.
Speaking to TNT Sports after lifting the trophy, he said: "We're still building this team, it's still a young team and we need to add some experience to it. We're in the Champions League.

"My thought process and what I've been doing is trying to build a team that can be successful for four, five years or six years.
"I am the manager of the football club, that decision is not in my hands."
The decision over Postecoglou's future lies with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who has already made up his mind on the Aussie's future at the club.
