Netflix will stream the showdown on July 20

Jake Paul has been invited Donald Trump to attend his boxing fight with Mike Tyson in July.

Many have criticised Paul and Tyson for agreeing to a bout, with a huge 30-year age gap between the two fighters.

The two men will face off at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with Netflix set to stream their showdown to millions all over the world.

Paul, speaking to Fox News, has now invited Trump to attend the fight and revealed his team have tickets waiting for the former US president.

“Mike and I want this to be a pro fight, full face shots," he revealed.

"We’re submitting that request to the commission. It’s an all-out war.”

He then added: “And Trump, if you’re watching this, this is an invite.

"I know you used to promote Tyson, so I’d love to have you at the fight. Vivek came to my other fight.

"And, of course, the silver fox, Barron Trump. So, Donny, pull up, we’ve got tickets for you."

Paul also joked that Tyson won't be able to bite his ear off until he's knocked out the 57-year-old.

Tyson famously bit Evander Holyfield's ear during their infamous fight back in 1997.

And Paul joked: “He can’t bite my ear off if I knock his teeth out."

The former YouTuber also believes Tyson is taking him lightly and insists his speed gives him an edge.

“Man, I think he’s underestimating me," said the 27-year-old.

“I truly ... I truly think that. And it’s a heavyweight fight, so, you know, he’s the bigger man.

“But I’m the faster man. He’s the much stronger man, but I’m fresh. He’s experienced.

"I’m smart but in the ring he may be smarter, so it’s a really interesting matchup."

Paul does admit, however, that he'll be facing a formidable opponent in Tyson - and that he's likely to gain weight for the fight.

“He’s the bigger man so … he’s going to be getting inside," he continued.

“I’m probably going to … gain weight for this fight.

“But I believe I have the faster feet and the faster hands. So I’m going to be working angles."

Meanwhile, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn recently branded the fight between Paul and Tyson as 'disgusting'.

"I think we live in a crazy world, don’t we, where that younger generation is built off views, built off narrative, built off controversy," he told Piers Morgan Uncensored when asked about the showdown.

"And as a hardcore fight fan, someone who has been around boxing since I was nine years old, I find it disgusting that a 58 year old man - who was my hero growing up, firstly has to even get back in the ring, from a financial point of view with the amount of money that man was paid or partially paid during his career, to get in a ring with a 25-year-old guy who can’t really fight.

"But for me I understand it and I was speaking to the Netflix guys, I don’t think they liked my criticism of the event.

"I’m never going to lie to you, I’m never going to sugar coat it, I’m just going to give you my honest opinion which is, it will sell, people will watch, it’ll be a big event and I don’t like it."
