Millionaire Minerva Mondejar Steiner — whose Mondejar Gallery had been a sponsor of Prince William’s Royal Charity Polo Cup — allegedly attempted to offer private meetings with the Prince and Princess of Wales in exchange for donations.
In the wake of the report, swift action was taken. While the Royal Charity Polo Cup had no connection to the Mondejar Foundation, organisers had entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Mondejar Gallery, which is now being terminated.
Sources confirmed that Prince William’s charitable team was unaware of the Mondejar Foundation or its efforts to solicit donations.
