"It was a very good battle. Credit to him for playing very well for I think entire match and serving great," Djokovic said of his opponent.

Djokovic's victory sets up a semi-final clash with world number one Jannik Sinner on Friday, marking his fifth consecutive appearance in the Wimbledon final four.
The Serbian's remarkable record when royalty graces the Championships remains intact following Wednesday's win.
Djokovic acknowledged the significance of Cobolli's improvement since their previous encounter. "Just huge improvement from him I think in the last six months since the last time I faced him in Shanghai," he noted.
The veteran offered encouragement to his defeated opponent at the net. "Well, the results are showing his improvement. He's in quarters of the Grand Slam for the first time. I told him at the net to keep going. Bright future is ahead of him for sure if he keeps going this way."

Djokovic reflected on the privilege of meeting members of the Royal Family at Wimbledon, noting this wasn't his first such encounter.
"Of course, it's a great honour and privilege for me to be able to shake hands with Queen of England. I've had that honour, as well, 2010 with the late Queen Elizabeth II," he said.
The Queen attended Wednesday's matches, continuing the tournament's long-standing royal connections.
"It's obviously a phenomenal occasion for Wimbledon to host the Royal Family. Wimbledon has been traditionally attracting Royal Family," Djokovic observed.
He welcomed the continued royal interest in tennis. "It's beautiful to see there's still an interest for our sport. Of course, it's important for all of us."
