Prince William and Princess Kate have ‘no plans to meet' Harry during the duke’s trip to the UK as the couple ‘focus on positivity.’

The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel back to the UK next month, however, the brothers are not expected to meet, according to a source.

There are also “deliberations” over whether the Duchess of Sussex and the couple’s two young children, Archie and Lilibet, will be accompanying the duke on the trip.

Prince Harry is due to attend the Invictus Games’ 10th Anniversary Service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

A source said: “Harry is due in London early next month, but there are no plans as of yet [for William and Kate] to meet with him while he’s over. He’s reached out and sent best wishes, but meeting might be a little premature.”

Kate and William have been remaining out of the public eye as the princess undergoes preventative chemotherapy.

After the Princess of Wales announced her cancer diagnosis Harry and Meghan sent their best wishes to Kate in a statement.

A source told OK! Magazine: “William and Kate are very consciously focusing on positivity and recovery.”

It has been reported that Meghan is rethinking the trip to London in May due to safety concerns in the UK.

This is because the exact time and date of the Invictus ceremony was made public, which has increased the security risk for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It comes as Prince Harry lost a court case over his police security when he returns to the UK meaning he does not receive the “same degree” of protection as when he was a working royal.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond said: “I think this is pretty unlikely that Meghan will join him at the service given Harry’s concerns about safety and the ongoing family tensions.

Tensions between the brothers have grown after the publication of Harry's memoir Spare

“I don’t think her presence would make any reconciliation moves easier. I think she would, rightly, be nervous about the reception she might get from any public gathered outside the cathedral.”

There have been tensions between Harry and his brother William since the duke released his tell-all memoir Spare and sat down for an interview with Oprah.

Prince Harry also made claims against the Royal Family in his Netflix series Harry & Meghan.

Prince Harry did not see the Prince or the Princess of Wales during his most recent trip to the UK to visit the King after his cancer diagnosis.
