Prince Harry’s polo friend has confirmed his involvement in the duke’s new Netflix show saying it was the prince’s “dream and passion to share.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are releasing two new series on Netflix as part of their £80million deal with the streaming giant.
Nacho Figueras, who has been dubbed the “David Beckham of polo” has spoken about Harry’s upcoming Netflix series that will focus on the world of professional polo.
Prince Harry and Figueras played against each other at the annual Sentebale polo match on Friday in Miami.

At the event, the professional polo player spoke about his friendship with Harry and what to expect from the newly announced Netflix series.
Nacho confirmed to a reporter at the Grand Champions Polo Club that he was involved in the upcoming series stating: “We’ve been working on this for a long time.”
He told Hello!: “It was always Harry’s dream and passion to share with the world, what it takes to be a really competitive polo player and show polo at the highest level.
“I cannot think of many people that can be better than him to be the kickoff of this storytelling.”

On Friday, the Duke of Sussex led his Royal Salute Sentebale team to a 3-1 victory against the Grand Champions team led by Nacho.
Harry is a Co-Founding Patron of Sentebale, a charity that raises money for people living with HIV and AIDS in Southern Africa.
Nacho also spoke about what it meant to be there to support Harry’s charity stating: “It’s always an amazing thing to do things that I love very much.
“One is playing polo, playing polo with good friends, and then also to be able to do that supporting an amazing cause, like Sentebale."

Nacho explained: “We stay in touch a lot, which is amazing to be able to, you know, have a friendship that feels like although sometimes we're not together-together, we are always together.
“At least in my case, [I] feel and think about him a lot. So, it's always a good thing to be able to share that with someone.”
Nacho’s wife, Delfina Blaquier is also friends with the duke and duchess and even called Meghan a “sister” and “fellow polo-wife” in an Instagram post in 2022.
