Meghan Markle has shared a touching Valentine's Day photo showing Prince Harry cradling their daughter Lilibet.

The Duchess of Sussex captioned the image: "These two + Archie = my forever Valentines."

The rare snap is one of the most revealing glimpses yet of the couple's four-year-old daughter, who sits seventh in line to the throne.

Harry and Meghan have typically shielded their children's faces from public view on social media.

But the sunset family portrait showed Lilibet dressed in a pink frock and tights, holding cluster of red balloons in her father's arms as he gazed at her adoringly.

Meghan also shared the image to her "story", embellishing it with a hand-drawn heart.

The young princess was born in 2021 and named after Queen Elizabeth II's childhood moniker.

The late Queen was given the nickname as a toddler when she struggled to pronounce her own name - with her grandfather King George V adopting the affectionate term.

The Duchess has long embraced the romantic holiday, having previously written about her preferences on her former lifestyle blog The Tig.

She noted: "In terms of gifts, be it breakfast in bed, a sweet love note, or a single flower... it really is the thought that counts."

Last Valentine's Day, Meghan uploaded a video featuring both children helping her prepare strawberry hearts on bagels spread with pink jam, set to Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E.

Lilibet's auburn hair was prominently visible as she helped her mother in the kitchen - while Archie appeared later as the pair took their creations outdoors.

Though it was Meghan behind the camera on February 14, her daughter has occasionally taken on the role of photographer herself.

In January, the Duchess posted a black-and-white clip of herself and Harry dancing in their Montecito garden, crediting Lilibet as the camerawoman.

She wrote: "When 2026 feels just like 2016... You had to be there."

Archie has also featured in recent posts, including footage from a trip to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, where the young prince was filmed feeding a rhinoceros.

The Instagram post follows reports that Meghan may travel to Britain this summer, marking her first visit in four years.

The 44-year-old is expected to accompany Harry to the Invictus Games one-year countdown event in Birmingham on July 10, having attended similar ceremonies in Canada and Germany.

But her attendance hinges on whether the Home Office decides to allocate the couple security protection.

Discussions over taxpayer-funded protection for the Sussexes during any visit are still ongoing.

GB News understands the pair are not taking anything for granted and are aware certain forces could intervene to scupper things.
