King Charles III was joined by a star-studded guest list at the Chelsea Flower Show, but the animal-lover was again distracted by an adorable dog.
The monarch, serving as patron of the Royal Horticultural Society, was joined by Queen Camilla and several senior members of the family this afternoon.
Prince Edward and the Duchess of Edinburgh joined for the occasion, alongside Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Their first port of call was the RHS and King's Foundation Curious Garden, a collaborative display co-created by the King himself, along with Frances Tophill, Sir David Beckham and Alan Titchmarsh.
The Curious Garden showcases an elegant oak structure designed to evoke a museum of curiosities.
Seven raised planting beds pay tribute to Sir David's famous number seven shirt – a thoughtful nod to the football legend's involvement in the project.
Delphiniums, known to be among His Majesty's most cherished blooms, also feature prominently throughout the display.

The star-studded trio, all King's Foundation ambassadors, greeted one another like old friends as they toured the display.
Sir David said: "I want to help encourage a new generation to appreciate the benefits of nature and get involved in gardening.
"It's been fun to be a part of creating the Curious Garden, and I'm excited for people to see it at RHS Chelsea Flower Show."

The King allowed Zinc to jump up at him as he bent down to affectionately stroke his head.

In a notable departure from tradition, this year's Chelsea Flower Show lifted its longstanding prohibition on gnomes as a one-off exception.
The decision allowed celebrities to customise and paint their own versions of the garden ornaments.
Mr Titchmarsh, Ms Tophill, Tom Allen, Bill Bailey, Angellica Bell, Sir Brian May and Baroness Floella Benjamin all contributed their artistic interpretations.
Four gnomes were specifically painted to represent Sir David Beckham, King Charles, Ms Tophill and Mr Titchmarsh, the creative team behind the Curious Garden.
