Financial expert Stefan Borson has offered some clarity on when we might finally get answers.
Speaking on talkSPORT's White and Jordan show this week, Borson said: "I think it's coming quite soon, but then we have said that before, right?"
He added: "My best guess and the kind of feeling in the parties is that it will come at the end of the season - June would be most likely, that's the feeling."
Borson didn't hold back on the delays either, calling the situation "ridiculous territory."
"18 months to write up a decision in a private arbitration is clearly ridiculous," he said, though he noted there are signs the process is finally wrapping up.
