Manchester City's Financial Fair Play case continues to loom large over the Premier League title battle with Arsenal.
The club faces a staggering 130 alleged rule breaches, up from the original 115 violations first reported. These accusations cover a period spanning from 2009 to 2018.
Hearings got underway back in September 2024, yet nearly two years later, there's still no resolution in sight.
It's created an unusual situation for the title race. Some worried that if Arsenal pip City to the championship, any subsequent sporting punishment for their rivals could leave an awkward asterisk hanging over the Gunners' triumph.

Financial expert Stefan Borson has offered some clarity on when we might finally get answers.
Speaking on talkSPORT's White and Jordan show this week, Borson said: "I think it's coming quite soon, but then we have said that before, right?"
He added: "My best guess and the kind of feeling in the parties is that it will come at the end of the season - June would be most likely, that's the feeling."
Borson didn't hold back on the delays either, calling the situation "ridiculous territory."
"18 months to write up a decision in a private arbitration is clearly ridiculous," he said, though he noted there are signs the process is finally wrapping up.

Manchester City are reportedly set to learn their fate in June
| PASo what does this mean for Arsenal fans?
Well, it's actually rather good news. If the Gunners manage to finish above Pep Guardiola's side this season, they can celebrate without any nagging doubts.
The June timing means any verdict arrives after the campaign wraps up. Whatever punishment City might face – whether that's a points deduction or something else entirely – it won't retrospectively cloud Arsenal's achievement.
Supporters can breathe easy knowing their potential title triumph stands on its own merits. They'd have beaten City fair and square on the pitch, with any subsequent ruling becoming a separate matter altogether.
It's the kind of certainty fans have been hoping for.
