King Charles and Prince Harry have reunited for the first time in nearly in over a year and a half, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
The estranged father and son last met in February 2024, just days after Buckingham Palace announced that the monarch was undergoing cancer treatment.
GB News understands The King had a private tea with The Duke of Sussex this afternoon.
Ahead of their meeting, the Royal Standard was raised at Buckingham Palace which signified the monarch was in the capital.
The King and Harry, his youngest son, have been estranged since the duke stepped down as a working royal and moved permanently to the US with Meghan Markle in 2020.

The meeting between the pair is believed to have lasted just under an hour, with Harry leaving Clarence House around 6:15pm.
It is not yet known what Charles and Harry discussed.
On Wednesday afternoon, King Charles boarded a plane at Aberdeen Airport and flew to London’s RAF Northolt.
King Charles was sighted in the back of a royal car driving to Clarence House before the meeting took place.
Immediately before the pair were reunited, a black Range Rover believed to be carrying Prince Harry was seen speeding into Clarence House.

The Duke of Sussex flew to the UK on Monday to attend the WellChild Awards that evening but extended his stay to four days, which fuelled expectations of a meeting between he and the King.
While no longer term reconciliation has been spoken of, today's meeting presents a major step to rapprochement between the father and son.
It appears to be a culmination of several months of gestures between the Harry and the King's camps.
This summer, two of The Duke's aides were spotted at a meeting with The King's Communications Secretary, close to Buckingham Palace.

Later, it is believed the duke had offered to share diary dates with Charles and the Royal Family seemingly in an effort to avoid engagement overlaps.
The recent overtures, and today's meeting, would appear to suggest there is some willingness on both sides to start repairing bonds.
As for Prince William, he has been in Cardiff announcing a new mental health centre, funded by his Royal Foundation.
The two estranged brothers are not believed to be on speaking terms, and it is highly unlikely they will meet in the little time Prince Harry has left in the UK.

Earlier today, Prince Harry visited the Centre for Injury Studies (CIS), part of Imperial College London.
The Duke of Sussex was visiting the CIS to learn more about its recent work on remedying injuries suffered by children and those sustained in natural disasters.
While there, his office announced he and Meghan Markle would donate nearly £370,000 to projects that support injured children from Gaza and Ukraine through his foundation, the duke's office confirmed on Wednesday.
The donation will contribute to the World Health Organisation's (WHO) efforts with evacuations and the development of prosthesis.
