Princess Kate opts for "statement pieces" when joining the Royal Family in public, a fashion expert has claimed.

Kate made a stylish appearance at the VE Day 80th anniversary concert, showcasing her sustainable approach to royal fashion.

The Princess of Wales opted for her Self-Portrait Tailored Bouclé and Chiffon Midi Dress in Cream for the evening event, last worn during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

Interestingly, the same dress is also owned by Princess Beatrice, Prince William's cousin. Kate's choice highlighted her penchant for rewearing significant pieces for important royal occasions.

James Harris, the Regional Sales Manager at Austen & Blake, spoke exclusively to GB News about the Princess's elegant ensemble.

"Kate has been opting for statement pieces in other recent public appearances such as the concert to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day," he said.

"Her magnificent five layer pearl necklace from Susan Caplan drew attention immediately."

Harris noted the necklace's significance in royal appearances, saying: "It has been spotted at other significant royal events, including a Holocaust Memorial event in London earlier this year, and continues to captivate."
