Donald Trump praises Queen: 'Never made mistake' - nothing compared to 'lightweights of today'

Donald Trump has heaped praise on the late Queen, saying she ‘never made a mistake’ in her long reign.

The former US president joined Nigel Farage for a sit down exclusive GB News interview as he vies for a second term in office.

He reflected on his previous stint in the White House, in which he visited the Queen.

“She was unbelievable”, he said. “I got to know her very well.

“I was supposed to be with her for 10 to 15 minutes we ended up being with each other for like, two hours.

“And then we had dinner that following night. It was beautiful.

“I got to know her very well over the course of a couple of years. She was unbelievable.”

The 71-year-old went on to comment on her lengthy reign, saying she “almost never made a mistake”.
