In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we acknowledge that a lot of people assume that if God exists, the expectation is to sort yourself out first. Get your life in order, clean things up, then maybe you're acceptable.
"But Jesus flips that idea. He says he comes for the people who know they need help. The ones who are aware of their limitations, their mistakes, their need for change.
"And Jesus response isn't distance, it's closeness. He goes to the table. He sits with the people. Others avoid, and he offers his presence before anything else. Jesus never avoids brokenness. He steps right into it."
