In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we recall how Jesus's own preaching was often preceded by miracles giving literal sight to the blind or hearing to the deaf.
"This opened people's hearts to see and to hear his message. Yet despite this, many people remained decidedly closed. Jesus once said, you will be ever hearing, but never understanding, ever seeing but never perceiving.
"It is entirely possible to hear but not actually listen, to see, and yet remain blind. Our public discourse has devolved in recent years. We'd seem to talk at each other rather than truly listening. We glance at a hundred things, but don't take the time to truly see."
