In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we recall the love that a mother has for her son which is exemplified in the Bible, of course, by Mary's love for Jesus.
"Now, of course, Mary goes on the journey through Jesus's life, even to the very end. She is standing there at the foot of the cross as he breathes his last breath. We can only imagine the pain she was going through at that moment, and yet we know that she did it out of love and faith in her son, Jesus.
"Whatever you're facing today, perhaps you're a parent, perhaps you're a mum, perhaps you just think of your own mum. Know that you are not alone.
"Know that God himself, God the son has a mother, Mary. He knows what you're going through. She knows what you're going through. You can call on God for help in times of need, and he will give you what you need to persevere."
